The Ferrari features a healthy dose of aftermarket ADV.1 forged wheels and a complete carbon fiber aero kit installed

For the most part, when high-performance luxury vehicles like these come into play, people can easily be split into two camps: keep it stock or tune it. While we completely understand the first group, the second one is definitely more appealing to us, that’s for sure.

When released, it was clear right away that the Ferrari 488 GTB was an evolutionary step from the Ferrari 458 Italia. The vehicle came with a few subtle visual changes on the outside, but the focus was pointed at the all-new 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine developed by for this particular vehicle by the Italian carmaker. The Ferrari 458 GTB’s 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine is truly a state-of-the-art powerplant, coming with somewhat smaller displacement, but at the same time a higher output than the 458’s naturally aspirated engine. In turn, the owner can enjoy an improved fuel economy, better throttle response and a bit more torque, all resulting in improved driving dynamics and fun factor.

In the Ferrari 488 GTB, this engine delivers a whopping 670 PS (493 kW; 661 hp) at 8,000 rpm and 760 N·m (561 lb·ft) of torque. For those that like to crunch numbers, this relates to a specific power output of 126.3 kW (171.7 PS; 169.4 hp) per liter and a specific torque output of 194.8 N·m (144 lbf·ft) per liter – both records for a Ferrari street car. When you take into account the Ferrari 488 GTB’s ability to accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in as low as 3.0 seconds, and you’ve got yourself a perfect starting point for a high-profile aftermarket build.

This Nero Ferrari 488 GTB features a complete carbon fiber aero kit. It consists of a front lip spoiler, side skirts, a rear diffuser, and a rear decklid spoiler. Clearly understated, these additions make for a perfect complement to this high-performance Italian supercar. Furthermore, the Nero finish on the vehicle itself eats up the carbon fiber parts, creating a blacked-out exterior look that’s only broken with some yellow, red and bronze accents on this vehicle.

Naturally, the final touch for this build is a set of aftermarket wheels. Made by ADV.1 Wheels, these lightweight custom-made forged wheels are a perfect choice for this vehicle. The ADV05 M.V2 CS Series two-piece forged wheels feature a gorgeous split five-spoke design, a hidden titanium hardware option and fit this vehicle perfectly. For this build, the wheels are machined in sizes of 21×9.5 in the front and 22×12.5 in the rear. Thanks to the Matte Bronze finish, they add that perfect contrasting effect on this build.
